We are seeking an experienced Front-End Developer to join our dynamic team in developing a custom Shopify mobile app. This app will feature advanced capabilities like AI-based recommendations and social networking integration. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in front-end development, with a knack for creating visually appealing and highly functional user interfaces.

Responsibilities:

•  Translate UI/UX designs into high-quality code to produce visual elements of the application.
•  Collaborate with UI/UX Designers to bridge the gap between graphical design and technical implementation.
•  Develop responsive and interactive front-end architecture for the mobile app.
•  Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability.
Implement security and data protection measures.
•  Assure that all user input is validated before submitting to back-end services.
•  Stay up-to-date with emerging front-end technologies and implement them in ongoing projects as applicable.
•  Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders.

Qualifications:

•  Strong proficiency in front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and emerging technologies.
•  Experience with front-end frameworks and libraries such as React, Vue.js, or Angular.
•  Familiarity with Shopify’s front-end development environment, including Liquid, Shopify’s templating language.
•  Understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS.
•  Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery.
•  Knowledge of advanced JavaScript libraries and frameworks.
•  Experience with responsive and adaptive design.
•  Good understanding of SEO principles and ensuring that applications adhere to them.
•  Familiarity with tools such as Gimp or Photoshop is a plus.
•  Experience with version control tools, such as Git.
