We are seeking a detail-oriented and data-driven Shopify Product Update Analyst to join our eCommerce team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and updating product listings on our Shopify platform to ensure accuracy, completeness, and optimization for sales performance.
Responsibilities:
– Regularly review and update product information, including descriptions, images, prices, and inventory levels, to ensure all details are current and accurate.
– Work closely with the procurement and marketing teams to coordinate product launches, updates, and discontinuations on the website.
– Analyze product performance data to identify trends, and make recommendations for product enhancements or promotions.
– Collaborate with the SEO team to optimize product pages for search engines, improving visibility and driving traffic.
– Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to product listings, such as incorrect information or broken links.
– Assist in the development and implementation of strategies to enhance the customer shopping experience on the Shopify platform.
– Ensure compliance with all company policies and industry regulations regarding online product listings.
– Stay up-to-date with Shopify’s features and best practices, and implement these to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of product updates.
Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field.
– Proven experience managing product listings in an eCommerce environment, preferably on the Shopify platform.
– Strong analytical skills and experience with eCommerce analytics tools.
– Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
– Strong communication and collaboration skills.
– Familiarity with SEO principles and best practices.
– Proficiency in using spreadsheet and database software for data analysis and reporting.
