We’re seeking a Shopify Junior Developer to establish our e-commerce presence for our new company and our product line. Your expertise in Shopify customization and web development will help drive the success of our business.

Job Title/Position:

Junior Shopify Designer

Shopify Developer job responsibilities:

– Develop and customize our e-commerce function using the Shopify platform (up to five products to start) and integrate with our website and social media (social selling). Set up up to five products on the site with provided product images, pricing, description (images, pricing, description will all be provided to the successful designer).

– Collaborate with us, the client, to implement our custom theme and layout on Shopify using our brand colors and logo.

– Optimize Shopify for performance, security, and discoverability.

– Debug and troubleshoot Shopify-based issues and integrations.

– Stay updated with Shopify’s features and updates.

– Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality.

– Integrate third-party apps and plugins to enhance e-commerce functionality.

-You will beta-test/troubleshoot our online Shopify shop so that it is fully operational and ready to take orders and provide order fulfillment.

– Proficient in the Shopify tech stack

– Strong knowledge of front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

– Experience with theme development and customization in the Shopify ecosystem to reflect our brand colors, logo, branding, and messaging/positioning.

– Ability to integrate third-party apps and APIs, as well as social media, into Shopify store.

– Understanding of SEO best practices between Shopify and our website.

– Connect Shopify to our social media platforms and marketing platforms, including but not limited to: TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, our website

– Knowledge of responsive web design and mobile optimization.

– Familiarity with version control systems for collaborative development.

– Effective communication skills for client interactions and project management.

– Problem-solving abilities to address technical challenges and customization requests.

– Commitment to staying updated with Shopify’s latest features and enhancements.

Timeframe:
Site must be fully functional to accept orders no later than or on/by July 8, 2024.

Requirements:
Provide us a link to your prior work, including but not limited to, completed Shopify shops and e-commerce work.

Please submit proposal for this work; your proposal can be an hourly or a fixed price.

Work will be completed virtually, via Zoom with daily, end-of-day updates expected.

Prefer English speakers.

Hourly Range: $12.00-$40.00
