Description:

We have built a complete integration to a payment provider and now need a skilled Shopify app developer to implement and create the app. The goal is to integrate our existing payment provider interface into a Shopify app, test it thoroughly, and ensure everything is working seamlessly.

Responsibilities:

• Implement the existing payment provider interface into a Shopify app using the Remix framework.
• Set up local development environments and handle authentication and data querying with Shopify.
• Use Prisma for session data storage and configure the database as required.
• Develop and test GraphQL and REST API interactions with Shopify.
• Ensure that the app handles webhooks and other mandatory Shopify interactions properly.
• Collaborate with our team to review the implementation and perform comprehensive testing.
• Provide documentation and support for the deployment of the app on cloud providers like Heroku, Fly.io, or Vercel.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in developing Shopify apps, preferably with the Remix framework.
• Proficiency in Node.js, React, and GraphQL.
• Experience with Prisma or similar ORM tools for database management.
• Familiarity with using Docker for local development.
• Strong understanding of OAuth and authentication mechanisms.
• Ability to manage and respond to webhooks in Shopify.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with a team.

Preferred:

• Experience with MySQL or PostgreSQL databases.
• Familiarity with cloud hosting platforms like Heroku, Fly.io, or Vercel.
• Previous experience integrating third-party payment providers into Shopify apps.
