NATO chief Jens Stoltenberg scrapped his plans to set up a €100 five-year fund of military assistance for Ukraine. This came after Stoltenberg faced pushback from alliance members. He, however, asked countries to keep up their current contributions, according to Bloomberg, quoting people familiar with the matter. Meanwhile, the NATO chief is expected to float a new proposal during the NATO defence ministers meeting in Brussels next week.
