adminWe’ve build a custom e-commerce platform in Symfony that has some very unique aspects to it. Our lead developer is currently busy with another project so we are looking for someone to take over the development. Our lead developer will be available to answer questions and explain how things are build. It will be your job to add new functionalities to the platform.
About the Job:
– You will be helping us develop the backend, add new features, fix bugs and add/improve unit tests. Working with 3 other developers (1 is project lead, 1 front-end, and the other is back-end/architecture).
– We develop using Mac and have set up the project using Docker. It is a requirement to use our Docker machines because this ensures the environment you are working on is the same as our servers.
Work Conditions:
– You must be available during regular work hours, Monday-Friday (we work in CEST, Amsterdam Time).
– We will have contact using our internal chat and voice/video calling
– Hours will start at 16-32 hours a week. It could go up depending on client requirements, but we would discuss that first
About you:
– We are looking for a team member who knows how to ask the right questions and assert themselves. For example, if a task is unclear, you will speak up and let us know, not just make assumptions.
– 5+ years of experience (we are looking for someone who really knows what they are doing and will be a strong asset to the team)
– A high level of knowledge of English, sufficient to quickly find information, read documentation and write clear and well-documented code and communicate in written and spoken language with us about the project
Before starting the project we might require that you complete a skill test.
Signing of an NDA (non-disclosure agreement) is mandatory.
Interviews will begin this week.
