Requirements:
This role is in the US financial sector, it therefore requires a full background check.
Only independent freelance individuals will be considered, anyone representing an agency/team scenario will not be considered due to the background check requirement.
The role is fully Remote and BYOD, but the the successful candidate will be expected to work core business hours aligned to the US EST time zone for up to 40hrs/wk. This means only applicants based within North or South American time zones will be considered at this time.

Experience / Skills:
• Experience working with modern JavaScript frameworks/libraries such as React.js, REDUX or TypeScript.
• Solid understanding of responsive design principles and mobile-first development practices.
• Experience with custom UI development and creating visually appealing, interactive interfaces.
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs and integration with backend services.
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

• B.Sc. Computing Science, B.Eng. Software Engineering, or equivalent
• At least 4 years experience in developing web applications, preferably leveraging React
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model
• Hands-on experience implementing component based UI frameworks such as material-UI
• Good knowledge and understanding of user-centred design techniques and principles and being able to design web and desktop applications that achieve their goals and deliver the intended user experience
• Prior experience working with CI/CD pipelines
