What You’ll Do:
In this role, you will take charge of developing cloud APIs from the ground up, focusing on resource management and integration of various external APIs. Your work will be crucial in building and maintaining the infrastructure that supports our decentralized platform.

Key Responsibilities:
– Design and develop cloud APIs from scratch for effective management of decentralized compute resources.
Manage and optimize resource pools to ensure peak efficiency and reliability.
– Contribute to and collaborate with external open source codebases, fostering our ethos of decentralization by integrating native support for io.net.
– Seamlessly integrate third-party APIs to enhance and expand our platform’s capabilities.
– Develop backend applications essential for cloud operations, including payment systems, user authentication and authorization etc.
– Write clean, maintainable Python code and engage in thorough code reviews.
– Produce comprehensive documentation for all developed systems and features.
– Work closely with cross-functional teams for continuous technological improvement and integration.

Qualifications:
– Strong proficiency in Python with significant experience in backend development.
– Skilled in developing cloud APIs with frameworks like FastAPI.
– Experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, Git, and familiarity with other cloud services.
– Proven track record of contributing to open source projects and handling complex API integrations.
– Deep understanding of cloud service platforms, distributed systems, and modern backend architectures.
– Excellent problem-solving abilities for complex and multifaceted projects.
– Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Hourly Range: $30.00-$80.00
