Job Description:
We are a small, ambitious company on a mission to build the most convenient and largest fashion website in West Africa. We are seeking a highly skilled and diligent OpenCart Developer with extensive experience in developing and managing OpenCart modules and extensions.

Responsibilities:
Homepage Update:

Update the new homepage design. The front end has already been created on Netlify using vanilla JavaScript.
Email System Enhancements:

"We Miss You" Campaign: Design and implement an email sequence to be sent twice a month to customers who haven’t shopped in two weeks, offering a limited-time discount code.
Abandoned Cart Reminder: Develop an email sequence that includes an urgency message, a discount code, testimonials, and a timer to encourage customers to complete their purchase.
First Purchase Incentive: Create an email offering a complementary product discount for customers making their first purchase.
Post-Purchase Emails: Implement emails that include order tracking information and a request for a review.
Welcome Email: Design a visually appealing welcome email with images.
Note: All email templates should be easily editable.
Payment Gateway Integration:

Integrate Amazon Pay and Stripe as new payment gateway options.
Shipping Integration:

Integrate DHL, UPS, or FedEx with an automated tracking system.
Required Experience:
Proven Experience: Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in OpenCart development.
Module and Extension Development: Extensive experience in building, installing, uninstalling, indexing, and validating OpenCart modules and extensions.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Familiarity with MVC frameworks and RESTful APIs.
Version Control: Experience with version control systems like Git.
Problem Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
Collaboration: Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
Attention to Detail: High level of diligence and attention to detail, ensuring high-quality and bug-free code.
Preferred Qualifications:
E-commerce Expertise: Experience in the fashion e-commerce industry is a plus.
Performance Optimization: Knowledge of website performance optimization techniques.
Security Practices: Understanding of web security practices and measures.
