We are a dynamic startup developing a web-based SaaS platform.  We’re looking for a Senior .NET Core Developer to join our team on a month-to-month basis, primarily focusing on developing GraphQL queries and mutations and more in our Azure based environment.

Key Responsibilities:

– Develop and maintain existing and new GraphQL queries and mutations
– Work on Azure Functions, ensuring they meet our project requirements.
– Contribute to database management and optimization using SQL Server.
– Handle deployment and CI/CD processes via Azure DevOps.
– Collaborate in the development and integration of Azure Service Bus and Entity Framework.
– Utilize Hot Chocolate framework for GraphQL implementation.
Required Skills:

– Strong proficiency in .NET Core (C# 8), SQL Server, Azure, and Azure DevOps.
– Experienced with Azure Service Bus, Entity Framework, and Hot Chocolate for GraphQL.
– Capability to work independently with minimal supervision.
– Fluent in English

Experience Level:

This is a senior role; we expect a high level of expertise and the ability to work autonomously.

Work Commitment:

Part-time engagement, 20+ hours per week.
Month-to-month contract.
Preferably someone who can work during Eastern Standard Time (EST) with at least a 4-hour overlap with our working hours (9:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST).
Collaboration and Reporting:

Daily check-ins and stand-ups.
Work will be coordinated through Jira; source code management in Azure DevOps Repositories.
Access to specific systems will be provided as needed.
Budget and Payment Terms:

Up to $40 per hour, based on experience and fit.
Payment will be made weekly through UpWork, based on approved hours worked.

Additional Requirements:

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Experience in working with distributed teams is a plus.

Hourly Range: $25.00-$40.00
