About Us

We are a beauty app and website providing a comprehensive management platform for beauty business owners and freelancers. Our platform helps manage clients, bookings, appointments, payments, staff, and more. One of our unique features is a community aspect where businesses can share content similar to TikTok, and clients can join these communities to receive exclusive offers, slots, and vouchers.

The Role

As a solo founder from Ireland currently residing in Sydney, Australia, I am seeking a highly motivated and skilled developer to join our team. Initially, this is a part-time position with the potential to transition to full-time as we grow. We launched in June and are in need of improvements, maintenance, and new features.
You will play a crucial role in finalizing our platform, preparing it for a group of 250 business owners eager to test and use it. As we scale, you will have the opportunity to manage a team of developers.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with the founder to identify and implement improvements and new features.
Maintain the existing codebase and ensure smooth operation of the app and website.
Prepare the platform for a beta test with 250 business owners.
Transition into a team management role as the company scales.
Coordinate with remote teams if required and ensure code quality and best practices.

Requirements

Location: Must be based in Sydney, Australia, or Ireland.
Availability: Part-time initially, with potential to become full-time.
I hire the person over the skills as the skills can improve.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently.
A proactive and collaborative approach to work.

Our Current Tech Stack:

Mobile Development: Flutter, Stacked State-management.
Web Development: Next.js, TypeScript.
Code Management: GitLab, CI/CD.
Backend as a Service (BAAS): Strapi, Firebase.
Database: Managed Database (PostgreSQL).
CDN for File Uploads: Cloudinary / AWS S3 bucket.
