We’re looking for a Senior full stack engineer who has deep application development experience across PHP Laravel, Node JS, NextJS applications and AWS with proven knowledge of event driven architectures.

You should be comfortable architecting and executing projects whilst working alongside an existing engineering team. If you’ve got less than 5 years of experience as application engineers or are not an exceptional engineer with self starter skills please don’t apply, We don’t want simple PHP engineers who have worked on some wordpress and simple apps but ones with provable skills across complex applications and the full stack.

We are looking to hire someone in the next week so applications will be processed as soon as you apply. This role is for someone who can give us 40 hours a week of dedicated time. We are not looking for part timers so please ensure you can provide us with full time capacity if you’re successful.

The technology stack you should be well versed in to apply to this role is as follows:

– PHP, Specifically the Larval framework 6+ years – It’s important to see a track record on your profile of working on more complex PHP apps
– NodeJS 4+ years
– NextJs and Typescript experience building high performant client experiences 4+ years
– Mysql 6+ years
– AWS 4+ years – Infra as code, Docker, ECS, Aurora, Event bridge. The Infrastructure side of building applications you should be as deeply competent in as the application side for this role.
– Scalable event driven data models – You’ve built real time or just in time systems across many data types and models with scalability and efficiency within system constraints as a top priority.

The goals of the contract are the following:

– Come up to speed with the product and tech stack
– Become apart of the team and support the feature delivery sprints by working across the stack to deliver user stories
– Write unit tests for critical features

About the company:
We are a remote first startup who have built a proof of concept social media automation application and have gained some traction. We are now working on a new version that is more robust for the company to scale. Our engineering team is based in Gujurat India and our Head of Engineering who you’ll be working with is based in Australia but works across India to California time. You’ll report to the Head of Engineering who will also be there to support you in every way across the contract.

Our interview process:
– We will shortlist 10 engineers and send a VideoAsk interview to you. This will take 5-10min to complete.  
– If shortlisted after the async we will do a 15min general interview with our Head of Engineering.
– If shortlisted after our 15min interview we will do a 30-60min technical Engineering interview before formally making an offer.
