Responsibilities:
Lead the architectural vision and execution for our next-generation SaaS platform:
Design and implement a robust, scalable, and secure architecture that fuels our exponential growth and future innovations.
Define APIs and microservices architecture for high availability, fault tolerance, and real-time data processing capabilities.
Ensure adherence to best practices for secure, cloud-native software development.
Champion unwavering security and compliance:
Implement and maintain industry-leading security best practices throughout the entire software lifecycle.
Lead compliance efforts, ensuring we exceed the highest standards for data security and privacy (PCI DSS, SOC 2, GDPR).
Work closely with the security team to proactively identify and mitigate vulnerabilities.
Drive DevOps excellence:
Champion and implement automated DevOps processes to optimize our development and release cycles.
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and deployment, allowing us to move fast and innovate constantly.
Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure seamless deployments and rapid growth.
Integrate seamlessly with hospitality ecosystems:
Design and implement robust APIs and integrations with essential third-party applications and services used by hotels and their partners.
Foster a culture of cross-functional collaboration to break down silos and ensure successful integration projects.
Leverage AI/ML to unlock new possibilities:
Identify opportunities to leverage AI and ML technologies to revolutionize hotel operations, data mapping, complex multi-platform reconciliation, service workflows and platform operations.
Mentor and inspire future architects and developers:
Share your expertise and knowledge with other team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth.
Guide and empower junior architects and developers to reach their full potential.
Qualifications:
7+ years of experience building and architecting secure, scalable, and performant SaaS applications. Ideally with experience utilizing the AWS platform.
Proven track record of success in designing and implementing cloud-based architectures for high-growth businesses.
Deep understanding of security best practices and relevant compliance regulations (PCI DSS, SOC 2, GDPR).
Extensive experience with DevOps principles and tools (CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code).
Expertise in API design and integration techniques, familiar with hospitality API ecosystems.
Experience with AI/ML concepts and their potential applications.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (preferred).
