Indian Air Force Chief Air Chief Marshal AP Singh has called the Russian-made S-400 missile defence system a “game-changer” and India’s ultimate shield against Pakistan. During Operation Sindoor, the S-400 demonstrated exceptional effectiveness—shooting down five hostile fighter jets, including F-16s and JF-17s, and scoring a record long-range kill by downing a Pakistani AEW&C (airborne early warning and control) aircraft from approximately 300 km away.
