I would like a simple React app that displays a local pdf file in the browser. This is done using the projects.wojtekmaj.pl/react-pdf library.

Next, the user should be able to draw a rectangle on any page of the PDF and it should extract the underlying selection as an image and save it is a file to the computer.

Here’s something similar that I found but I only want the app to show PDF thumbnails in the left sidebar, the main page in the right area and then an option to draw a single rectangle on the page.
