After a tense meeting with Donald Trump, South African President Cyril Ramaphosa spoke on the U.S. president’s claim that genocide was being committed against white people. The South African president said that when Trump was asked by a reporter whether he’s convinced that there was genocide, he said, no, he’s not convinced. Ramaphosa added that what Trump terms as genocide cannot be equated to apartheid. The South African president also said that there is no ‘white genocide’ in the country.
