We have a financial application which is meant to run on desktop, iOS, or Android devices. The app relates to buying and selling products and securely transferring funds. It needs thorough regression testing, such as entry of bad data, incomplete form submission, controls which might not display or operate correctly, and so forth. It’s important that displayed messages correspond to the behavior of the app. Establishing user profile, including photo avatars, must work correctly. Phone numbers and email addresses need to be correctly validated, including password resets and one-time login codes. Creating and deleting transactions, browsing history, establishing connections between users, using QR codes with deep links, canceling partial transactions, and all other features must be examined carefully – with special attention to users who do "the unexpected" rather than staying on "the happy path".

The team is presently using Jira for bug tracking. Expect to be articulate about describing problems in a way that the dev team can reproduce, including text description of the circumstances, plus taking screenshots and highlighting relevant areas if necessary.

We plan to have several people working on QA concurrently, so we may establish a central system for bug management, to avoid redundancy.

Hourly Range: $8.00-$18.00
