Become part of a QA team working on innovative ways to combine test automation, robotics and CI/CD to create complex test stations. We’re looking for a Software Engineer with a strong background in software tests and quality assurance.
The test stations will be utilized by a top US Tech company in the development of their QA environment, strongly impacting the (very high) quality of their products – consumer electronics devices sold in multi-million units globally.
You’ll be dealing directly with various customer stakeholders in an agile environment. The customer is looking for a strong, hands-on, proactive, and pragmatic approach combined with strong communication and team spirit.
Requirements:

University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience with factory automation and robotics, ideally with ROS1 / ROS2
Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer with a strong background in software testing and automation.
Strong knowledge of Unix fundamentals for setting up and maintaining test environments.
Proficiency in Python for test automation, API, and integration testing.
Experience with UI automation testing, particularly on iOS and macOS platforms.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Strong programming skills in two or more languages such as C/C++, Swift, Lua etc.
Ability to specify the root cause from the entire HW/SW system
Existing and valid VISA and work permit in Germany, or resident of EU country
Nice-to-have:

Familiarity with mobile and web application testing tools and frameworks.
Experience with test management and defect tracking tools.
Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
Familiarity with Linux OS
Experience with robotics QA
Experience in those fields will be a strong plus:
