Russian deputy defence minister, Timur Ivanov, has been detained for allegedly accepting “large-scale” bribes. As per reports, he allegedly accepted bribes in one of the high-profile corruption cases. Russia’s investigative committee reported that Ivanov was being held & a probe is underway. Reports say searches were conducted late on April 23 at some of Ivanov’s properties. Meanwhile, the Kremlin said Ivanov’s detention report had been presented to the Russian president.
