The Gomel Region in southeast Belarus, which borders Ukraine, is ready for a “wartime” situation. According to BELTA news, the simulation comprised evaluating the readiness of several state agencies and services, with a focus on making sure there would be food, fuel, and medication available as well as sustaining communications in the event of a military battle.
