Italian citizens who entered Kursk have sparked Russia’s anger amid the escalating conflict. On August 16, the Russian Foreign Ministry summoned Italy’s ambassador, alleging that two Italian journalists illegally crossed the border while filming a TV report on Kursk. According to Russia’s TASS, the FSB has launched a criminal case against the journalists, identified as Stefania Battistini and Simone Traini, who work for RAI. Watch the video for details.
