Massive escalation between Russia and Ukraine amid the ongoing Kursk incursion. Russian forces attacked Ukraine’s second-largest city Kharkiv on August 30. At least seven people were killed and over 75 injured after Russian forces dropped guided bombs on high-rise buildings. In Ukraine’s Sumy, Russian forces targeted a factory, killing two women and injuring over 10 people. Meanwhile, the Ukrainian military also launched a cluster munition attack on Russia’s Belgorod region. At least 5 civilians were killed and 37 suffered injuries.
