Russia President Vladimir Putin on May 20 made a phone call to his interim Iranian counterpart Mohammad Mokhber after the death of Ebrahim Raisi. Putin remembered Raisi as a “reliable partner who made an invaluable personal contribution to the development of friendly relations between Russia and Iran”. Moscow also sent a significant message to Tehran regarding the helicopter crash which killed Raisi and his foreign minister Hossein Amirabdollahian. Watch the full video for more.
