Project Objective:
Design work for MYNDY’s new self-service application. We are building a daily mental fitness application to help customers build a morning routine (habit) using behavioral science and our proprietary framework.

Job Title:
Contract Product Designer (UX/UI)

Key Responsibilities:
Design intuitive and user-centered product experiences, focusing on optimizing the user journey and enhancing user engagement.
Collaborate closely with the founder, chief of staff, product lead and engineering team to define and implement innovative solutions for product direction, visuals, and experience.
Implement user feedback to gain insights and identify user needs and solutions.
Translate concepts into wireframes, mockups, and prototypes that lead to intuitive user experiences.
Refine and iterate user interfaces to meet product objectives and user needs, ensuring high-quality and innovative design and brand consistency.

Contract Details:
This is a contractual position requiring 5-10 hours of commitment per week, which includes asynchronous work and live working sessions.
Prior to finalizing the contract, we require a 1-2 hour paid working session to ensure alignment between both parties.

Requirements:
5+ years of experience in UX and UI design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your design skills and thought process.
Proficiency in standard design tools (esp Figma) and understanding of front-end languages
Experience in conducting user research, usability testing, and incorporating feedback into design iterations.
Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction and a keen eye for detail.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly and effectively communicate design processes, ideas, and solutions to teams and clients.
A passionate advocate for user-centered design and an avid follower of emerging trends in UX and UI design.

Hourly Range: $20.00-$40.00
