The Role: We’re looking for a UX/UI Designer with a knack for simplifying complex data into intuitive and actionable user interfaces. This role is for a designer who thrives in both the conceptual stages of product development, and can build wire frames and figmas. We are looking for people with experience in user interaction design, and have examples of Data Visualization designs.  

Responsibilities:

– Design intuitive, user-centric solutions for complex data presentation and management challenges.
– Collaborate closely with the CEO and technical co-founder to create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes for new product features.
– Utilize data visualization techniques to transform raw data into understandable and actionable insights for our users.
– Work iteratively based on direct user feedback to refine and adjust designs.
– Lay the groundwork for a scalable design system that aligns with Walkway’s long-term vision and branding
– Transition seamlessly between working on specific partner-focused projects and broader visionary planning.

Qualifications:

– 3+ years of experience in UX/UI design, particularly in B2B and data-rich applications.
– A strong portfolio showcasing expertise in data visualization and UI design.
– Proficiency with design tools (e.g., Sketch, Adobe XD, Figma) and an understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for prototyping purposes.
– Experience working in a startup environment, demonstrating flexibility, initiative, and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced setting.
– Excellent communication and collaboration skills, capable of working hand-in-hand with both technical and non-technical team members.
– Prior experience or a strong interest in the tours and activities industry is a plus.
