Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced PowerShell Automation Specialist to engage in a comprehensive end-to-end automation discovery and implementation project for TSS (Technical Support Services) and pilot deployments. The role involves advising on automation best practices, designing automation architecture, and contributing to the development roadmap for automation tooling, including application provisioning.

Key Responsibilities:
End-to-End Automation Discovery:
  – Lead and participate in automation discovery sessions to assess existing processes and identify automation opportunities.
  – Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and design an effective end-to-end automation strategy.
Architecture and Design:
  – Advise on leading practices for automation architecture and process design, ensuring alignment with project goals and best practices.
  – Develop and recommend a future development roadmap, solution design, and release schedule for automation tooling, including application provisioning.

Implementation and Support:
  – Provide guidance on the implementation of automation solutions to meet deployment windows and project requirements.
  – Develop, test, and maintain PowerShell scripts for various automation tasks.
  – Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to automation processes and tools.

Customer and Delivery Partner Interaction:
  – Act as a key customer and delivery partner, ensuring that automation solutions meet both customer expectations and technical requirements.
  – Document automation processes, architecture, and best practices for ongoing reference and future training.

Skills and Qualifications:
Technical Expertise:
  – PowerShell:Strong proficiency in PowerShell scripting and automation.
  – Windows SCCM: Experience with System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) for application and patch management.
  – Windows Active Directory: Knowledge of Active Directory for user management and automation.
– Experience:
  – Minimum of 5 years of experience in PowerShell scripting and automation.
  – Proven experience in designing and implementing end-to-end automation solutions.

– Soft Skills:
  – Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  – Strong communication abilities, with a track record of effective collaboration with stakeholders and team members.
  – Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a contract-based role with US shift hours.

– Additional Skills (Preferred but not required):
  – Experience with cloud automation and provisioning tools (e.g., Azure Automation, AWS Lambda).
  – Familiarity with other scripting or programming languages (e.g., Python, Bash).

Additional Information:
– The role involves participating in automation discovery sessions for up to six weeks from the start of the Statement of Work (SOW).
– Remote work is possible, but candidates must be available for virtual meetings and collaboration during US shift hours.
– The contract may be extended based on project needs and performance.
