We are looking for a seasoned Senior QA Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of experience in quality assurance, including testing web and mobile applications across different screen sizes and web browsers. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, enabling them to identify issues related to the front end, back end, and database layers, and understand the severity and priority of these issues. This role involves direct engagement with clients, requiring excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive testing of web and mobile applications across various screen sizes and web browsers to ensure the highest quality standards.
Engage in client meetings to gather requirements, provide testing feedback, and discuss quality concerns when necessary.
Demonstrate a strong technical acumen to discern issues related to different layers of application architecture (front end, back end, database) and accurately determine their severity and priority.
Utilize Postman for API testing, ensuring all endpoints meet functionality, reliability, performance, and security standards.
Develop detailed test plans, test scenarios, and test cases to guide the testing process and ensure comprehensive coverage.
Experience with TestRail is preferred, with the ability to organize and manage testing outcomes and reports efficiently.
Proficiency in using Jira for issue tracking and project management, with a solid understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
Advocate for quality assurance best practices across the development lifecycle, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
Nice to have: Experience in automated testing, including the development and maintenance of automation frameworks and scripts.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in QA testing, with a strong portfolio of tested web and mobile applications.
Profound knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
Experience in API testing using Postman and creating comprehensive test documentation (test plans, test cases, test scenarios).
Proficiency in Jira and familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both technical teams and clients.
Experience in TestRail and automated testing tools is a significant plus.

Hourly Range: $15.00-$25.00
