The task is to build a design & plan which would include:
* Details of the new user interfaces required
* API Calls required to make phone calls, receive phone calls
* API Calls to collect call data
* Functionality required on mobile device
* Functionality required on server
* Error handling, alerting and recovery
* Administrative tools to administer telephony services delivery (eg. enabling/disabiling telephony per user)
* New reports required (eg. call minutes per user, per period, calls made, calls received per user per period)
* Estimate of costs to build new functionality
* Estimate of costs to operate new services (cost per user/per minute, etc)
* Summary of overall feasibility of solution
* [Potentially] evaluation of potential suppliers to
build the solution.
The successful applicant for this role will have:
* Multi-year design and implementation experience with the Twilio API set, including use of these on mobile devices and servers
* Ability to architect scalable and stable telephony solutions
* Deep understanding of telephony technology and terminology
* An understand of cost / functionality / complexity trade-offs in implementation of telephony solutions
* Project management skills
* An understanding of the Australian telephony and interconnect environment and how Twilio services actually work in the Australian market, including provisioning of fixed/mobile numbers
* An understanding of the economics of telephony service delivery – typical costs applied in telephony service delivery
* Excellent spoken and written English
* Can be based anywhere in the world but availability in Australian working hours for calls is essential
Hourly rate will depend on the candidate’s level of skill & experience.
Hourly Range: $15.00-$70.00
