Job Description:

We are looking for a part-time WordPress Expert (not agencies) to make changes and significant improvements to our current WordPress website. The ideal candidate will be a proficient coder with a deep understanding of WordPress and the ability to design high quality websites.

Responsibilities:

    Modify and improve the existing WordPress website. This includes layout and format harmonization.
    If needed, customize themes and plugins using advanced coding skills.
    Ensure the website is mobile-responsive and user-friendly.
    Optimize the website for speed and performance.
    Advise and Implement security best practices to protect the website from vulnerabilities.
    Suggest and Collaborate with the marketing team to integrate SEO and content marketing strategies.
    Apply UX/UI development and design principles to improve the user experience.
    Troubleshoot and fix any issues or bugs that arise.
    

Ideal candidate is someone proactive with strong command (with an up-to-date practical knowledge) of the latest WordPress trends and features and matches the top qualities of a UX/UI developer and designer.

Requirements:

    Proven experience working with large WordPress websites, including theme and plugin development.
    Proficiency in coding languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and MySQL.
    Experience with CSS frameworks such as Bootstrap or Tailwind.
    Familiarity with SEO best practices and tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Search Console).
    Understanding of content marketing principles and how they apply to SEO.
    Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
    Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
    Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with team members.
Strong ability with Design Tools: Proficiency in tools like Adobe XD, Sketch, Figma, and others.
