A Pakistani man, Shahzeb Khan, was arrested in Canada on September 4 on charges of plotting a mass shooting at a Jewish centre in New York’s Brooklyn on the first anniversary of the Hamas’ October 7 attack. According to the US authorities, Khan had also been planning to obtain AR-style assault rifles, ammunition, and other materials to carry out attacks.
