We are looking for an experienced SQL developer to modify and enhance a current procedure. The existing method inaccurately calculates end dates based on a standard assumption of 8 working hours per day, without considering the variability in daily working hours outlined in our Business_Time_Workdays (Business Time Workdays) table. The project involves making this procedure more dynamic and reflective of actual working conditions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Dynamic Working Hours Adjustment: Update the procedure to dynamically calculate end dates, incorporating the varying number of working hours per day as defined in the Business_Time_Workdays (Business Time Workdays) table.

Calculation of Percentage of Time Elapsed: Improve the procedure to accurately calculate the time elapsed percentage between start and end dates, considering the business hours.

Eskalationsstufe (Escalation Level) Validation: Identify and rectify records in the BAM_Betriebsauftrag (Service Request) table where the Eskalationsstufe (Escalation Level) field is set incorrectly, based on the newly calculated time percentage.

Creation of an Additional Procedure for Eskalationsstufe (Escalation Level) Update: Develop a new procedure to update the Eskalationsstufe (Escalation Level) field in the BAM_Betriebsauftrag (BAM Operational Order) table, in line with the elapsed time percentage.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

– Demonstrated experience in SQL development and database management.
– Ability to interpret and revise complex SQL procedures.
– Excellent problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
– Knowledge of business time calculations and dynamic scheduling is preferred.
