Three Jaish-e-Mohammad terrorists were killed in a major counter-terror operation in Kishtwar, Jammu & Kashmir under Operation Trashi-I. Security forces, including the Army, J&K Police and CRPF, neutralised the militants after a long intelligence-based pursuit in challenging terrain. Officials say one of the terrorists is likely top JeM commander Saifullah, active in the region for nearly five years. The encounter site caught fire during the gunfight, leaving bodies charred. With this, seven JeM terrorists have been eliminated in Kishtwar this year. Major General A P S Bal praised the coordinated efforts, calling it a significant blow to terror networks in the region.
