Our organization, One Acre Fund, is distributing agricultural inputs, including logistics and financing, to 1 million farmers throughout East Africa.

We are in the process of re-designing our core internal sales platform, tracking farmers, orders, and their loans.

We are moving away from mostly in-house development to the Odoo open-source platform.

We expect a large amount of customization, since our current systems have been highly specific for more than 10 years. In particular:
– The tracking of farmer records has lots of specific aspects since they are grouped in specific hierarchies, which affects a lot of our business logic (e.g. if one farmer defaults, all members of his groups are banned from the program on the next cycle)
– All orders are placed on credit, and the tracking of these loans is highly custom (following fixed cycles or not, using individual or group liability…)

The organization of the product catalog is however relatively ordinary, but we would like ways to group related products into bundles.

Hourly Range: $30.00-$50.00
