I’m trying to set up a new WordPress website which will act as a distributor for various brands of skin care products. I’m familiar with WordPress and I do also own a Shopify store. However, this is the first which will use Woocommerce.

I’ve already installed the theme and started to make some customizations, but nothing too complex.

These are the unique needs for this site:

1)  The long-term plan for this site is that it will act as a "base" which can later be cloned for my clients.  This "base site" will include dozens of brands and potentially thousands of products. Then if/when a client of mine wishes to have their own website (for selling the skin care products they offer), we will clone my "base site" and then modify it to match their branding and product offering.  For example, this "base site" may have dozens of brands and thousands of products, but my client may wish to only sell 3-4 brands and 20-30 of these products. So for them we would clone the "base site" but then remove the unneeded brands/products that they do not wish to offer.

2) I would like to incorporate automations for importing/updating products when possible. In other words, I’d like to avoid the need to manually update each and every product if/when the details change or a new product from a particular brand becomes available. I’m not sure if there’s a specific technology or app that can help do this, but if there is, I’d like to use it with this site.
