We are thinking that WhatsApp will be primary user transport to/from our AI. We will support SMS, FB / Instagram DM, email, etc. All contacts are saved in CRM and that is the gateway for all comms. Contact must exist in CRM to engage with our Assistant AI
On the UI side, there is a great product out there that has a cool UI. I want to use that as a baseline for what our UI should look like and grow/enhance to meet our customer’s needs. Am thinking the UI is for team leads, not for general users. This will allow team leads to control the AI features, prompt, limits, etc.
Will need to consider whether my Inmotionhosting VPS server can handle this laravel traffic. Not really sure how to confirm. User traffic goes to CRM which sends webhook to our laravel app. Laravel db queue enables webhooks to return quick and then laravel job picks up and runs transactions, calling AI or CRM API as necessary to complete tasks. Most processing is handled by OpenAI so I think we should be ok with CPU but not sure what will happen if we have 1000 users hitting system. Seems laravel db queue will be huge bottleneck and my VPS likely won’t scale to support 10s of instances off laravel app.
