Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky thanked Sweden, a member of NATO, for providing $1.25 billion in military help. ASC 890 surveillance aircraft from Sweden will be provided to Ukraine as part of the support. According to Pal Jonson, Sweden’s minister of defence, the aircraft will help Ukraine’s air defence by allowing it to “identify targets both on the ground and at sea and identify incoming cruise missiles and drones.”
