Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement advanced motion control algorithms for the cobot arm, focusing on achieving high precision and smooth trajectories.
• Design and optimize control loops using techniques such as PID, feedforward, and adaptive control.
• Analyze robot dynamics and kinematics to ensure stable and safe operation under various conditions.
• Conduct extensive testing and validation of developed algorithms to guarantee performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanical, electrical, and software engineers to integrate algorithms into the overall cobot system.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in motion control technologies and contribute to the continuous improvement of our algorithms.
• Document Firmware code and algorithms clearly/clean and concisely for maintainability and knowledge sharing
Qualifications:
• Master’s degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, Control Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience developing and implementing motion control algorithms for robots, preferably cobots.
• Strong understanding of robot dynamics, kinematics, and control theory.
• In-depth understanding of PID, observer/compensator and advanced control techniques, and trajectory planning.
• Experience with C/C++ programming and robot control frameworks (e.g., ROS2, MoveIt!).
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
• Passion for robotics and a drive to push the boundaries of technology.
Hourly Range: $35.00-$70.00
