We are seeking a talented native mobile app developer(s) to lead the mobile application development for our sports event management system. As the lead developer(s), you will be responsible for creating Scorbot’s first mobile application. Your main tasks will include setting up the codebase, building out the mobile interfaces provided by our designer, integrating with our existing authentication and backend systems, and collaborating with our design and business teams to build the mobile app.

Scorbot Overview:
A comprehensive sports management software solution, expertly crafted by Coaches and Directors, Scorbot seamlessly integrates essential business processes to streamline event administration, tournaments, leagues, camps, tryouts, and team management.

  Project Scope:
  – Team/Player/Fan user onboarding, for existing and new users to the platform
  – Event discovery, helping teams/fans find and follow their next event based on location, dates, sport and other properties
  – Event registration, allow players/teams to register for events via Stripe/Paypal
  – Event schedule and game scores, giving teams/fans realtime state of their games
  – Team discovery, helping fans find and follow teams (could be invited to follow)
  – Team rankings, helping teams/fans follow their teams standings and they compare to other teams in their divisions
  – Team Notifications/Messaging, helping teams/fans receive notifications from their event owners of the event they’re participating in and teams sending out messages to their fans
  – Account management, help users manage their account profile, team profile, preferences, legal docs, etc.

  Technical requirements:
  – User authentication with existing MongoDB database
  – User team/event search via Mapbox
  – Registration payment processing via Stripe/PayPal
  – Push notifications
  – Implement UI designs
  – Live widgets as necessary, i.e. Team schedule & Game scores

  Key Skills:
  – Proficient in native mobile development principles and best practices
  – Strong knowledge of mobile app development guidelines
  – 5+ years of experience with UIKit and SwiftUI
  – Ability to create animated interfaces and implement user-friendly designs
  – Excellent communication and collaboration skills

  This is a large-sized project that is estimated to take between 3 to 6 months to complete. We are looking for an intermediate/senior level developer(s) who have previous experience developing mobile applications. This is also a mobile application that will be an extension of the existing web platform, scorbot.com.
