We have an opening for a full-time, long-term position for a full-stack developer with a minimum of five years of experience in MEAN Stack.

Requirements:

– Minimum 5 years of experience in complex projects using MEAN Stack technology
– Proficiency in Angular, Node.js, MongoDB, and knowledge of Angular.js for maintenance during code refactoring and upgrading to the latest Angular version
– Strong experience with MongoDB
– Understanding of code sharing and merging
– Familiarity with Azure Dev Ops, CI/CD, and Pipeline
– Experience in integrating RESTful services
– Ability to write modular, scalable code and implementation of microservices
– Experience and knowledge of Typescript
– Familiarity with Tailwind CSS
– Available for 40 hours plus
– Must start at 3 pm NZT (Preferred if you can work during NZ business hours)

Nice to have:

– Knowledge of Azure Dev Ops, Board, Repos, Pipeline and Test Manager
– Advanced knowledge of Ubuntu and Nginx
– Code Review
– Architectural vision to support complex project building
– Ability to review and refactor code
– Ownership of project

**Objectives of this Role:**

– Collaborate with a global team of developers to design end-to-end, industry-leading systems and solutions
– Build scalable distributed solutions across the entire stack to drive positive user experiences and measurable business growth
– Develop new features and infrastructure in support of rapidly emerging business and project requirements
– Ensure application performance, uptime, and scalability, maintaining high standards of code quality and thoughtful application design
– Work with an agile development methodology, follow best practices, and pursue ongoing learning opportunities
– Research and develop new web and mobile technology applications to improve the user interface

**Daily Responsibilities:**

– Participate in all aspects of agile software development, including design, implementation, and deployment
– Develop new features, enhance existing ones, implement bug fixes in existing code, and conduct code reviews
– Work primarily in Node, Angular, and MongoDB
– Conduct peer reviews and provide actionable feedback
– Collaborate across time zones via Slack, Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and DevOps Tools

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

– Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience
– 5+ years of experience in web development
– Exceptional communication, organization, and leadership skills
– Clear understanding of Object-oriented programming (OOP)
– Write clean, self-explanatory code using SOLID principles and design patterns
– Strong knowledge of core programming skills, algorithms, and data structures
– Excellent debugging and optimization skills
– Knowledge of client and server-side applications using modern frameworks like Node and Angular
– Unit/integration testing experience is a plus
– Desire to continue to grow professional capabilities with ongoing training and educational opportunities.

Hourly Range: $8.00-$10.00
