Requirements
Technical Leadership: Manage the entire product and systems architecture and development for other wordpress sites, collaborating with internal and 3rd party design and development teams.
Hands-on Development: Contribute directly to development as a hands-on developer, implementing and maintaining complex features and functionalities.
Backend Development: Strong understanding of PHP back-end development, utilizing frameworks and best practices.
Front-end Expertise: Familiarity with front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery, ensuring seamless integration with the back-end.
WordPress Proficiency: Extensive experience in building WordPress websites and/or plugins, including the ability to work with databases, server scripts, and APIs.
Responsive Design: Design and develop responsive websites, ensuring optimal user experiences across various devices.
Debugging and Optimization: Utilize debugging tools to improve site performance and troubleshoot issues.
Cross-platform Compatibility: Ensure consistent style across platforms and browsers when making CSS changes.
API Integration: Interact with RESTful APIs and formats (JSON, XML), integrating external services as needed.
Version Control: Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as GitHub.
Custom Plugin Development: Build and use plugins to create intuitive user-friendly WordPress backend tools for content management.
Micro-services and APIs: Design and implement micro-services based backend services and public/internal APIs.
Cloud Infrastructure: Build and manage cloud infrastructure (AWS) to support our web environment.
Feature Development: Continuously design and implement new features and functionality.
Architecture and Performance: Establish and guide the website’s architecture, ensuring high performance and availability.
Theme and Plugin Development: Help formulate effective, responsive design concepts and turn them into working themes and plugins.
Site Optimization: Optimize websites for page speed and loading, ensuring the best possible user experience.
Server and Hosting Knowledge: Experience with hosting platforms like WP Engine, CDN services like Cloudflare, and domain management with GoDaddy.

A plus if you have experience with:
Elementor Pro Plugin
Yoast Plugin
Connecting and testing Google Analytics, Facebook Pix and other analytics code
Experience merging multiple wordpress sites (including both subdomains and subdirectories)
Shopify

Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years working with wordpress
Proven track record of working on complex WordPress projects.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Flexible in time
