Role Summary: The Linux Software Developer will be responsible for developing software applications on the Linux operating system adapted to other embedded systems. This role involves analyzing, modifying, and maintaining existing POS/Terminal-side systems, as well as investigating new software technologies in the POS and Terminal domains.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Develop existing POS/Terminal-side systems by analyzing and identifying areas for modification.
Integrate existing POS/Terminal software products by creating code to link incompatible platforms and ensure seamless operation.
Maintain POS/Terminal software and systems by monitoring, identifying, and correcting software defects and bugs.
Investigate new POS and Terminal software technologies to stay updated with industry trends and advancements.
Create technical specifications and test plans for POS/Terminal software projects.
Perform unit testing, verification, and validation of the developed products to ensure functionality and quality.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Proven experience as a Linux software developer or similar role.
Proficiency in Linux operating system and shell scripting.
Experience with embedded systems development and integration.
Strong programming skills in languages such as C/C++ or Python.
Knowledge of POS/Terminal systems and software development principles.
