As a core blockchain engineer, your role will involve the creation, design, construction, testing, and implementation of the infrastructure underpinning the Bubble Network. You’ll join a proficient team and play a pivotal role in advancing the Bubble Network towards a dynamic, permissionless environment, pioneering in the field of decentralized infrastructure. This position demands hands-on engineering to develop a novel model for secure, decentralized access to private data, necessitating a broad spectrum of computer science expertise.

Responsibilities:

Lead the end-to-end development of features, taking ideas from conception to production.
Own significant components of our core infrastructure, ensuring high availability and redundancy in distributed systems.
Write high-quality, well-tested code.
Communicate and document ideas and flows.
Publish and present in journals and conferences.

Essential Qualifications:

Proficient in English, both verbally and in writing.
At least 3 years of experience in blockchain technologies such as Ethereum (or other EVM-based chains), Bitcoin, or any other smart-contract supporting chains; including familiarity with dev-tools like hardhat, remix, etc.
Over 5 years of coding experience, including at least 2 years with Go.
Minimum of 3 years in contributing to system architecture and design, focusing on reliability and scalability.
Experience in setting up and operating blockchain nodes.

Advantageous skills:

Background in components like L2s, Oracles, Bridges, RPCs.
Experience in smart contract development using Solidity, Vyper, Rust, etc.
Experience coding in python, node.js, C++.
Experience with Docker/Kubernetes and Terraform for infrastructure management.
Understanding of the cryptocurrency ecosystem and DeFi.
Experience in financial software markets.
Knowledge in designing distributed cryptographic systems and protocols.
Track record in developing and managing online services and distributed systems.
