Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced WordPress Developer responsible for both back-end and front-end development, including creating WordPress themes and plugins. This position requires a combination of programming skills (PHP, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript) and an understanding of aesthetics (understanding element arrangements on the screen, color and font choices, and so on).
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and maintain WordPress websites for our clients.
Customize WordPress themes and plugins to meet specific project requirements.
Ensure high-performance and availability of all WordPress sites.
Conduct website performance tests and optimize speed and scalability.
Troubleshoot and resolve website issues and bugs.
Collaborate with designers, project managers, and other developers to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Proven experience as a WordPress Developer.
Proficiency in front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
Strong understanding of PHP back-end development.
Experience with WordPress theme development and customization.
Knowledge of WordPress plugin development and customization.
Familiarity with website architecture, responsive design, and SEO best practices.
Experience with version control systems, such as Git.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with popular page builders like Elementor, WPBakery, or Beaver Builder.
Familiarity with RESTful APIs and third-party integrations.
Knowledge of e-commerce platforms like WooCommerce.
Understanding of website security best practices.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
