About the Role:
As our Lead Developer (DeFi & Smart Contracts), you’ll play a pivotal role in launching Stocken’s MVP. You’ll spearhead the development of secure and efficient smart contracts on Ethereum and Polygon, ensuring seamless integration with user wallets, KYC providers, and stock brokers. You’ll be a technical leader, driving development decisions, and contributing to a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Responsibilities:
Design and develop secure, gas-efficient smart contracts for core DEX functionalities such as token swap, liquidity management, and automated market making (AMM) on Ethereum and Polygon.
Implement on-chain governance mechanisms for user voting and protocol upgrades.
Design and implement APIs for connecting to KYC providers and stock brokers, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
Conduct thorough security audits and penetration testing of smart contracts and deployed infrastructure.
Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and knowledge sharing.
Stay abreast of the latest advancements in blockchain technology and DeFi protocols, actively contributing to the team’s innovation efforts.
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in blockchain development, with a strong focus on Ethereum and/or Polygon.
Proficient in Solidity and relevant test suits, with the ability to write secure and efficient smart contracts for complex DeFi applications.
Experience in Truffle or Hardhat.
Experience with web3 libraries such as web3.js, WalletConnect, and Etherscan API.
Understanding of front-end development and API integration (ReactJS, TypeScript preferred).
Solid knowledge of DeFi concepts and protocols (DEXs, AMMs, liquidity pools, staking).
Experience with security tools and practices for smart contracts and blockchain applications.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with a cross-functional team.
Passion for blockchain technology and the potential of DeFi to transform finance.
