PHP / Laravel developer Duties and Responsibilities:
1-Develop, record and maintain cutting edge web-based PHP applications on portal plus premium service platforms
2-Build innovative, state-of-the-art applications and collaborate with the User Experience (UX) team
3-Ensure HTML, CSS, and shared JavaScript is valid and consistent across applications
4-Prepare and maintain all applications utilizing standard development tools
5-Utilize backend data services and contribute to increase existing data services API
6-Lead the entire web application development life cycle right from concept stage to delivery and post launch support of the platforms
7-Convey effectively with all task progress, evaluations, suggestions, schedules along with technical and process issues
8-Document the development process, architecture, and standard components
9-Coordinate with co-developers and keeps project manager well informed of the status of development effort and serves as liaison between development staff and senior management
10-Keep abreast of new trends and best practices in web development
11-Use Trello to manage the bugs, issues and problems
12-Dedicated Resource with ability to DELIVER
13-REST API, Interfaces for e-commerce platforms – ability to talk to the vendors in English to obtain Testing of APIs, Interfaces for Products & Orders & Order Status
PHP / Laravel developer requirements and qualifications
1-Previous working experience as a PHP / Laravel developer for (x) year(s)
2-BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS or similar relevant field
3-In depth knowledge of object-oriented PHP and Laravel 5 PHP Framework
4-Hands on experience with SQL schema design, SOLID principles, REST API design
5-Software testing (PHPUnit, PHPSpec, Behat)
6-MySQL profiling and query optimization
7-Creative and efficient problem solver
