We are currently seeking a skilled Jira Testing Administrator to join our team. As a Jira Testing Administrator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of our testing processes by managing and configuring Jira, our primary testing and project management tool. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand testing requirements, implement best practices, and optimize workflows to enhance productivity and quality.

Responsibilities:

Configure and administer Jira to support testing processes and workflows.
Collaborate with project managers, developers, and QA teams to gather requirements and implement custom workflows, issue types, and fields in Jira.
Create and maintain test plans, test cases, and test cycles in Jira for different projects and releases.
Manage user permissions, roles, and access controls in Jira to ensure security and compliance.
Customize Jira dashboards, filters, and reports to provide real-time visibility into testing progress and status.
Integrate Jira with other tools and systems used in the testing process, such as test automation frameworks and defect tracking systems.
Provide training and support to users on Jira functionality, best practices, and troubleshooting techniques.
Stay up-to-date with the latest features and enhancements in Jira and recommend process improvements and tool enhancements to optimize testing workflows.
Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Proven experience as a Jira Administrator or similar role, with a focus on testing and quality assurance.
Strong knowledge of Jira administration, including customizing workflows, schemes, permissions, and issue types.
Experience with test management practices and tools, including creating test plans, test cases, and test execution reports.
Familiarity with agile methodologies and experience working in agile development environments.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
Jira Administrator certification (e.g., Atlassian Certified Jira Administrator) is a plus.

Hourly Range: $10.00-$21.00
