I am looking for a developer to build a JavaScript based PDF editor for a project that will use Electron similar to https://github.com/PDFTron/webviewer-electron-sample/ .
Some of the available prebuilt SDK’s have a lot more options than I need, resulting in a high license fee which does not fit my project. This is why I would like to develop one for my use.
The main features that I need are:
Out of the box user interface similar to the example
Import/export/save
Thumbnail view side panel
Indexed search
Annotations (callout, highlight, comments)
Export annotations/bookmarks
Edit pages (reorganize, move, split, merge)
Bookmarks
A big part of this job post is to get a price estimate, please treat this as a bid. Include a fixed price offer for building this program along with a timeline. I assume the main library has already been built open source that allows commercial use.
Once the initial software is developed, I will be in need of a developer to make customizations to both the user interface and backend to customize to my niche. So, there is an option for this to become long term.
Thanks
Budget: $1,000
