India’s External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar delivered a strong message on deepening India-Russia ties at the “India and Russia: Towards a New Bilateral Agenda” conference. Highlighting the enduring partnership between the two nations, Jaishankar emphasized that the relationship is built on trust, mutual respect, and decades of strategic cooperation. Referring to recent high-level engagements, including Russian President Vladimir Putin’s visit to India, he noted significant progress across sectors such as trade, nuclear energy, mobility of skilled professionals, and maritime cooperation. Both nations are now targeting to boost bilateral trade to $100 billion by 2030, signaling a major economic push.
