Iran’s Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) has launched a fresh war of words and missiles against Israel, accusing Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of turning the Passover holiday into a “gift of fear” for his own settlers. Tehran says this latest barrage, described as the 89th wave of “Operation True Promise 4”, involved more than 100 missiles, drones and rockets targeting what it calls strategic military sites linked to Israel and the United States in cities including Eilat, Tel Aviv and Bnei Brak. In a parallel message, senior Iranian commander Major General Ali Abdollahi insisted that the broader Resistance Front – from Iran to Hezbollah – has pushed US and Israeli opponents into “helplessness”, arguing that Western and Israeli intelligence badly misread the alliance’s capabilities and cohesion.
