An effigy of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu hanging from a construction crane in the Turkish city of Trabzon has drawn strong condemnation from Israel. Photos published by the pro-government newspaper Yeni Şafak showed a dummy resembling Netanyahu suspended from a crane, accompanied by a banner reading, “Death penalty for Netanyahu.” The individuals behind the act have not yet been identified.
